The space was transformed into a mix of old and new facades, with rustic tile flooring and numerous fluorescent neon bright hands held in the"Triangle of Power" position hung from the ceiling.actress Alexandra Shipp. Known for her impressive acting chops and ability to make any look sing on the red carpet, the close friend of the house easily stood out among the stylish crowd.
Shipp perfectly channeled the brand's ethereal ethos, wearing a rich black velvet jacket belted at the waist, a matching pencil skirt, ankle-strap heels, and a pearl-adorned ring. The collection itself harkened back to the roaring '20s, but the pieces felt modern for today, featuring a mix of masculine tailoring, including aviator-inspired suits and outerwear plus feminine glamour, such as flapper dresses covered in swinging fringe.
There were more overt homages to New York and Paris iconography, with Statue of Liberty and Eiffel Tower large-scale motifs incorporated throughout. "I loved the finalé dress! It was ethereal and mesmerizing," Shipp says. " down the runway, it felt like I was watching it float as if underwater.""I feel elegant in this fit! I would wear this to a dinner or date night for sure.
