“I don’t think he’ll do much [Tuesday],” Daboll said of Barkley. “But he’s really now, I’d say, in the day-to-day category. Feels a lot better today, but we’ll kind of take that all the way throughout the week and see how he improves.”The Giants in Week 3 also didn’t have outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari , who has missed the past two games. His status for Monday night is unclear.
Daboll said that once Thomas returns, the Giants’ offensive line will look like this, from left to right: Thomas, Bredeson, John Michael Schmitz, Marcus McKethan, and Evan Neal. Daboll clearly likes McKethan over Ezeudu. Otherwise, Ezeudu could play left guard and Bredeson could play right guard — and Daboll could still keep Glowinski on the bench. Instead, McKethan will get a third straight start against Seattle, while Ezeudu will be a swing guard/tackle backup who can play four spots on the offensive line, if needed.
