The MonsterVerse is a new connected universe franchise that began with the 2014 American reboot Godzilla.
Per Deadline, Legendary has announced that their upcoming MonsterVerse Apple TV+ series is titled Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, in addition to releasing a synopsis and a gallery of first-look images. The synopsis reveals that the show takes place over two timelines, both featuring Army officer Lee Shaw. Shaw will be played by Wyatt Russell in the 1950s and by his father Kurt Russell half a century later.
