Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian reorganizes engineering unit to gain market share more quickly
Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian outlined several leadership changes to the company's Cloud unit in an email to staff.
Among the changes is replacing Google Cloud engineering vice president Eyal Manor with Brad Calder, who Kurian says he hopes will help "unify" the division that has more than doubled since Kurian took the helm.Thomas Kurian, chief executive officer of cloud services at Google LLC, speaks during the Google Cloud Next '19 event in San Francisco, California, U.S., on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. Manor, who led engineering and key Google product Anthos, will be looking for another role within the company, Kurian's email said.
