Rep. Lauren Boebert's call to collapse separation of church and state spurs alarm

"She’s the product of a multi-decade campaign to elect Christian nationalists to public office and this is a central tenet of their ideology.
Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote in her dissent that the court "continues to dismantle the wall of separation between church and state that the Framers fought to build."Boebert, who has been described as a white Christian nationalist, will face off against several challengers tonight for the Republican nomination.Boebert's office did not immediately return a request for comment.
