Starting with a list of commands that they’re given, bandmates Karen Ledford and Rej Forester spell out exactly why they’re so angry, before declaring: “I fucking hate my mom!”, Forester explains that while the song started out as a sarcastic commentary about teenage angst, it quickly evolved into a raging track actually pointing out “all the trivial shit you have to go through as a young person...being a teenager is like one big fat existential crisis on repeat.
