Working like a dog pays off for the guide canines who get free treatment at Manhattan’s nonprofit Animal Medical Center
Frisco, a 90-pound German shepherd guide dog who lives in Manhattan’s West Village, is 13 years old. That’s on the old side for such a big dog, and Frisco needs a lot of care to keep working, including weekly visits to the acupuncturist and physical therapist for his achy joints.
