Harris County GOP asked for an emergency hearing asking for Isabel Longoria to be removed from office immediately after her resignation wouldn't take effect until July.

Attorney Steve Mitby, who is legal counsel for the Harris County GOP, said they were going to the emergency hearing to ask the court to do two things. And to make Harris County turn the cameras back on that are supposed to be recording the vote count.The GOP say the cameras were turned off when the 10,000 lost ballots were found.
Attorney Steve Mitby legal counsel for the Harris County Republican Party announced the requested emergency court hearing to remove County Elections Administrator Isabel Longoria immediately and not accept her resignation date of July 1, 2022. Additionally, Mitby remarked on comments made this week in Commissioners' Court.
