After the driest May in years and a hot start to June, central Pa. could see some rain, and maybe thunderstorms, on Saturday.
Today is supposed to be cloudy and somewhat windy, with high temperatures nearly 80. There’s a 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms,Parts of central Pennsylvania, including Cumberland, Adams and York counties, are in a National Weather Servicebecause of the possibility of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Storms could include frequent lightning, pea-sized hail and wind gusts between 35 and 45 mph, the NWS says.
Sunny weather will be back tomorrow. The Sunday forecast calls for clear skies and temperatures in the upper 70s.
