'It would be pretty fun.'
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Bonnie Wright becomes the latest Harry Potter star to weigh in on a possible Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie. The English actress starred in the blockbuster film series based on J.K. Rowling's books as Ginny Weasley, Ron's younger sister, who evolves from a shy student at Hogwarts to a strong witch who participates in the fight against Voldemort, while also developing a romantic relationship with Harry.
During an appearance on the Inside of You podcast hosted by Michael Rosenbaum, Wright weighed in on a possible Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie. The actress says it would really fun, while also pointing out the original cast's roles wouldn't be that big, though she has no idea whether a screen adaptation will actually happen. Read her full comments below:
The biggest question everyone wants to know is if they are going to be making a TV/film version of it. I don't know. It would be pretty fun because it's really about the children. It's not about our characters, so it wouldn't be a massive role. It would really be about these kids and the new generation. It would be fun, but I have no idea if they'll do it.
Could A Harry Potter & The Cursed Child Movie Actually Happen? Since the film series seemingly ended in 2011, there has been massive interest in a Cursed Child movie since it would bring back original stars, including the Golden Trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint as Harry, Hermione, and Ron. However, Wright is correct to point out that their roles wouldn't be that large.
