After Bogdanovic’s 3 made it 119-118, Chicago’s DeMar DeRozan’s had a turnover, and Young padded the advantage with two 3s in the final 1:12.The Hawks denied the Bulls’ bid to complete a four-game sweep of the season series.DeRozan and Zach LaVine each had 22 points for the Bulls. Nikola Vucevic had 21 points and 11 rebounds.When LaVine opened the second half with a 3-pointer for a 66-56 lead, the Bulls were 10 of 19 and on pace to match their season high for 3s.
The Hawks then found their long-distance shot and began outworking the Bulls under the basket. DeAndre Hunter, who had 18 points, grabbed a rebound of his own miss and scored for a 72-70 Atlanta lead.Clint Capela scored off an offensive rebound minutes later to spark a 10-2 run that gave the Hawks an 84-76 advantage. DeRozan’s last-second jumper gave the Bulls a 92-90 advantage entering the final period.
