An Anna Kendrick-starring series, new Looney Tunes cartoons, and a talk show starring Elmo are all slated to drop with HBO Max on launch day.
The company will launch with an exciting slate of original content, both with completely original content and a few existing franchises are beloved by fans.
"Our number one goal is having extraordinary content for everyone in the family, and the HBO Max programming mix we are so excited to unveil on May 27th will bear that out," Chairman of Warner Media Entertainment and Direct-to-Consumer Robert Greenblatt said in a press release.

The price of HBO Max is expected to be the same as the current price of HBO at about $15 a month, which is less than the prices for recently launched Disney+ service from Walt Disney Co. and Apple Inc.'s Apple TV Plus. AT&T's stock fell 1.2% in premarket trading, while Disney shares lost 1.5% and Apple's stock eased 0.4%. The declines come as futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 558 points, or 2.4%.
