Brice Sensabaugh is projected as a first-round pick. He led the team in scoring, and he is the third OSU freshman over the last 40 years to start their career with six straight double-digit games.
“He is the most gifted offensive player, at his age, that I’ve coached,” Holtmann said. “He is a tremendous offensive talent. I believe he’s the most gifted scorer, pure scorer, in this draft.”
“One of the things I’m proud of Brice is I thought he saw the game offensively much better in the last 7-8 games of the season, and you saw that in his numbers,” Holtmann said. “He knows he’s got to continue to get his body in a place where it can manage 82 games. I think that’s number one,” Holtmann said. “I think continuing to prove that he can grow in his defensive understanding and his ability to be versatile on defense.”
