We chat with Heels star Alison Luff about Staci Spade's journey into the DWL and the dirty secrets she uncovers in season 2 of the STARZ show:

Staci is married to Jack Spade , which isn't always easy since he has a bad habit of prioritizing the DWL over his own family.
Season 2 starts off with Staci separating herself from Jack. Can you talk about why she was so disappointed with him in season 1, with the revelation at the end that Jack was really the one who screwed over Ace? Alison Luff: Something that Staci learned throughout their discord and their little separation was that she has to have grace for her partner. The DWL is something that even though she might not understand it as well as Jack does, it's important to him. And we have to have the things that are important to us and things that make us happy, or else we're not going to be able to show up and be happy in the places we need to be. So she realizes, "Okay, this is important to you.
But I think Staci will grow to have more grace for Willie and understand that things aren't always black and white in the way that we see them and perfectly squeaky clean. But Staci's priority is and always will be her family, so she's always going to do what it takes to protect her family no matter what that is. One thing that may [happen] is Staci might not play by the rules as much as she thought she would.
