During this week’s ‘TV’s Top 5,’ showrunner Stephen Falk joins Lesley Goldberg and Daniel Fienberg to chat about Apple’s new Billy Crudup series as the hosts also discuss Showtime layoffs and the Super Bowl.
But first, read on for a condensed portion of our interview with Falk., the original script was written by Amit Bhalla and Lucas Jansen. What attracted you to the property?
I came on board around June 2021. They brought this fully realized, retro-future world that lives in our imagination. It was just such a captivating, amazing world. Billy Crudup was also a big drawing point and I had not worked with Apple.
