Hulu has dropped the official Hellraiser trailer for its forthcoming reimagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic starring Jamie Clayton.
movie is directed by David Bruckner from a screenplay written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, based on the story treatment by David S. Goyer. The ensemble cast includes Odessa A’zion, Jamie Clayton, Adam Faison, Drew Starkey, Brandon Flynn, Aoife Hinds, Jason Liles, Yinka Olorunnife, Selina Lo, Zachary Hing, and Kit Clarke, with Goran Visnjic and Hiam Abbass.
“In the film, a young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension,” reads the synopsis. The film is produced by Goyer, Barker, Marc Toberoff, and Chris Stone, with Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, and Todd Williams serving as executive producers. It is a production by Spyglass Media Group.
