Here's 8 seconds of the new Netflix ‘The Witcher’ footage that is worth watching
When is it okay to post a teaser for a teaser trailer? When that show is Netflix’s
, and it has quickly turned into one of my most anticipated series of the year, now that I have confidence that it’s not going to be a total disaster.is coming up at the end of the month, and the show is promising to debut a fully new Witcher trailer sometime from October 31 to November 3. But until that happens, they have shown off a new 16 second teaser trailer that is technically eight seconds of footage and eight seconds of title cards.
It sounds goofy, but with all the quick cuts we get glimpses of roughly 16 new scenes from the show , including footage of Yennefer , Ciri and of course Henry Cavill’s Geralt looking like a snack. I mean a boss. Looking like a boss. Yes. We can see a few different moments here. One that has Geralt fighting humans, then later, him confronting a giant spider. Yennefer does some weird sorceress things, including one scene where it looks like she’s on fire. Ciri uses her power to bowl over some guards.started showing off actual footage, most of my doubts evaporated as it all looks great so far.
I will look forward to the actual trailer in around two weeks or so, and we still don’t have an official release date for the show yet. Supposedly it may be in late November or early December, but almost certainly before the end of the year. Maybe when this new trailer hits we will also get a date for the series too, assearches for its own Game of Thrones competitor at last. I don’t need The Witcher to be Game of Thrones, I just need it to be good. And I am starting to really get my hopes up.
