The Owls improved to 9-2 and remained in solid playoff positioning behind first place Alamo Heights and MacArthur with five matches remaining. Burbank is right behind the Owls after the Bulldogs defeated Lanier in four sets on Tuesday. Lanier and Edison follow. The top four qualify for postseason.The Golden Bears were paced by Nalani Galarza, who had seven kills and nine assits. Leah Silva had 24 digs.
