Hoda Kotb Shared a Precious Video of Baby Hope’s Very First Christmas Tree Lighting
As this Christmas marks the first for baby Hope, it’s also a milestone for Kotb and Schiffman, who have been dating since 2012. Schiffman decided to make things official and proposed to Kotb during a romantic getaway to Mexico in late November.
“We went to our usual vacation, and we ended up having a little dinner on the beach. We were done with the dinner—I was eating churros and licking the bottom bowl,” Kotb told thecast when she announced her engagement. “Then he said, ‘I have something else to say,’ and said some beautiful things. Then he got down on one knee and said, ‘Will you be my wife?’”
