Protesters and police clashed at Hong Kong’s international airport as a second day of demonstrations ended with an outbreak of violence
HONG KONG—Protesters’ takeover of Hong Kong’s international airport turned into a clash with police late Tuesday, capping a second day of snarled travel plans with a bout of violence.
The day began with small numbers of black-clad protesters dotting the arrival hall, some playing the violin and singing. It ended with fierce fights that led one officer to pull his gun.
