The Treasury Department sent six years of Trump's federal tax returns to the Democratic-led committee House Ways and Means Committee, a spokesperson confirmed.
"Treasury has complied with last week’s court decision," a Treasury spokesperson told Axios.The House Ways and Means Committee did not immediately provide comment to Axios.After the Treasury Department denied the committee's request to turn over the documents in 2019, committee chair Rep. Richard Neal filed a lawsuit enforcing its inquiry.
