The House Judiciary Committee delayed until Friday a vote on two articles of impeachment against President Trump
WASHINGTON—House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler halted a marathon drafting session on two articles of impeachment against President Trump on Thursday night, calling for the session to resume Friday morning with votes.
Republicans and Democrats had spent all day debating abuse-of-power and obstruction-of-Congress charges against the president, based on allegations that he improperly pressured Ukraine to announce probes that would benefit him politically and then tried to block Congress from investigating.
