WASHINGTON—The House of Representatives plans to vote on the Senate version of a humanitarian aid package for migrants at the southern border, abandoning plans to amend the bill.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat from California, had previously pledged changes to the Senate package before allowing it on the House floor for a vote. The shift could clear the way for the bill, which is expected to have enough support to pass the House, to be sent to President Trump ahead of the July Fourth recess.
