An unmarked Houston Police Department vehicle and a Houston MetroRail light rail car collided in downtown Houston on Tuesday afternoon, shutting down part of the rail service.
The collision happened around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Rusk and Austin, according to a Metro spokesman.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.The crash was still being cleared at 4:30 p.m. Metro was using buses to transport people between the EaDo/Stadium and Theater District stations.
