Bread of Life, Inc. recently announced a partnership with Quest Diagnostics Foundation to improve health care access and fight food insecurity in Harris County.
“Over these last 30 years we've seen the mission of the Bread of Life evolve into a very comprehensive agency that’s now addressing inequities in Harris County,” saidof St. John’s, also the executive director of Bread of Life, Inc. “I am super excited for what this initiative is going to mean, not only for the people we've been called to serve, but also for the agency.”
“At Quest we are fond of saying that health care is a team sport,” Prevoznik, who is also the co-executive sponsor of Q4HE, said in the release. “We know that no one entity alone will be able to close the gaps in health care and we are committed to working together to help address critical health issues for underserved communities in Houston.”
