Cameron Joshua, 22, attended the downtown Houston gathering where Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed Nov. 1. Police identified Joshua in surveillance footage as being among the dozens of people who witnessed the shooting outside 810 Billiards & Bowling, prosecutors on Tuesday said.
He was arrested Nov. 23 with unlawful carrying of a weapon and felon in possession of a weapon in addition to two pending cases. Police apprehended him on a pocket warrant as he left a Northside-area apartment complex and got into a Cadillac vehicle, official said. He has a felony conviction out of California, court records show.

Downey did not elaborate on Joshua’s ties to the party that Takeoff attended but said he was aware that a skirmish happened following a purported dice game. He was not sure if Joshua participated in the game.
