Houston police officers responded to a call for service to assist with a family disturbance at the home of Police Chief Troy Finner Saturday afternoon.

Houston Police Chief Troy Finner addresses the Houston Police Dept. Cadet Class #253 during its graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in Houston. On May 19, 2022, he appeared at a news conference seeking information about the slaying of a 14-year-old Lamar High School student.

The call came in at around 3:45 p.m. when a supervisor was dispatched to visit the residence, according to a Houston Police Department statement on Twitter. An argument about the chief's recent COVID-19 diagnosis is what allegedly led a family member to reach out to police for assistance.Statement from HPD:
