Family, friends and other mourners gathered on Saturday at the Fountain of Praise church in southwest Houston to say goodbye to late Houston rapper Milton 'Big Pokey' Powell.

Powell died on June 18, after collapsing during a performance in Beaumont. He was 48 years old. As a performer with the Screwed Up Click rap group Powell influenced decades Houston-based hip-hop artists.
