An OnlyFans creator and stay-at-home mom explains how much she's made in 9 months on the platform and how she uses Reddit to promote her pages
She uses Reddit to attract people to her OnlyFans accounts, and recently expanded to YouTube.When Anne started creating content for OnlyFans in August 2021, she made just $82 in her first month on the platform. She made less money the next month, and the following month, and eventually stopped posting altogether.
"I always heard that Reddit was very sex-worker friendly, and that you could post whatever you wanted on there without getting banned," Anne, who asked to be identified by her middle name to protect her privacy, told Insider."Eventually I only used Reddit, and that's where 100% of my followers came from."
Anne said she knows OnlyFans creators who use other platforms like TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter to promote themselves. She's tried cross-promoting her content on Twitter and Instagram, too, but found that focusing consistently on one platform has helped her more than trying to balance multiple.
"To be outside and show that type of living really did intrigue people," Anne said."When I was camping in the summer, I did a lot of stuff on the beach and people loved it."
