The NBA has suspended Grizzlies All-Star Ja Morant 25 games without pay that will cost him $7.6 million for “conduct detrimental to the league.”
“The potential for other young people to emulate Ja’s conduct is particularly concerning,” Silver said in the NBA statement. “Under these circumstances, we believe a suspension of 25 games is appropriate and makes clear that engaging in reckless and irresponsible behavior with guns will not be tolerated.
He’ll have a press conference basically repeating what he said in his statement with sincerity and return to the court with a new appreciation for the game and the life the NBA has afforded him.Does he put himself in situations that lead to unnecessary drama and encounters?
