Seattle general manager John Schneider won the off-season by trading for star defensive tackle Jadeveon Clowney to plug an obvious hole on the defensive front. No wonder this team is always a contender.
The over/under for both Wilson and the Jets’ Sam Darnold this season is 3,600.5 passing yards, according to DraftKings, which makes that a pick-em play on quarterbacks who are at each end of the spectrum.
Darnold who was the second quarterback and third player taken in the 2018 draft, passed for 2,865 yards for the Jets last season after winning the job in the preseason. He made 13 starts, missing three games in November with a sprained foot. The Dolphins never ranked in the upper half of the NFL in passing yards per game under Gase, and even their 10-win 2016 team was 26th in passing yards, relying on ball control and defense. Miami was 30th last season while playing through quarterback issues.
