Vin Diesel first appeared as Richard B. Riddick in 2000, but his The Chronicles of Riddick franchise has since become a streaming sensation, raising questions about Riddick's age in every movie. Though he is now best known for the Fast & Furious franchise, Diesel's debut as Riddick in 2000's Pitch Black forced the world to take notice of the actor, especially as a dynamic protagonist in an original sci-fi thriller.

With Riddick 4 confirmed to include the Necromonger Empire and the Underverse but lacking a firm release date, it is difficult to know how old Riddick will be in his next, and possibly final adventure, in Vin Diesel's The Chronicles of Riddick franchise. Given that Furyans are superhuman, however, it remains possible that Riddick has a longer lifespan than ordinary humans, which means Riddick 4 could be set decades into the future and make Diesel's real age a moot point.
