HARLEM’S APOLLO THEATER has staged raucous, foot-stomping concerts starring heavyweights like B.B. King, Aretha Franklin and James Brown, but on May 5, the 105-year-old theater hosted a different sort of performance: a 60-look fashion show by London-based designer Ozwald Boateng.
