'Friends' is leaving Netflix on January 1, and there's bad news for any fans who want to watch it online for the next few months before the release of HBO Max.
All the major digital media stores like iTunes and Google Play will still have all 10 seasons of the show available to buy for those who willing to spend more to fulfil theirinto 2020. In the U.K., for example, it was confirmed thatwas staying on Netflix in July 2019, when a spokesperson told Digital Spy that there would be"no impact on the U.K." when, once revealed as its second most-watched show, was leaving the streaming service next year.
The company tweeted:"The One Where We Have To Say Goodbye. We're sorry to see"Friends" leaves Netflix on January 1is not the only major show that Netflix will be losing in 2020 as the so-called streaming wars kick off. It will also lose its most-watched show asgoes to the upcoming NBC streaming service Peacock. However, the streamer will get all ofJoining Friends on HBO Max, which will cost $14.
