Get ready to say 'howdy' to a new resident in St. Johns Town Center. A Western apparel store from Austin, Texas is about to open its first location in Florida and they're comin' here.
This will be the only Tecovas store in Florida, and it is expected to open by the end of the year. The next-closest store for the company — which operates in 11 states — is in Atlanta.
Tecovas also has locations in cities including Nashville; Fairfax, Virginia; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Charleston, South Carolina. The Jacksonville store is near Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret and Dick's Sporting Goods. Tecovas will sell boots, shoes, clothing and"ranchwear for men and women," according to its website.
Boot prices range from the low $200s to nearly $1,500. The company also sells other leather products, like bags, totes and gloves, along with jeans, shirts and accessories. The company, founded in 2015, aims to earn “the respect of the industry and the praises of cowboy boot enthusiasts far and wide.”
