DEVELOPING: Houston police are investigating after they said an officer struck and killed a pedestrian on the East Freeway early Friday.
Details of the crash were not immediately available at this time.
Police said the westbound side of the East Freeway will be closed for several hours as officials investigate.This is a developing story, please check back for updates.
