The vehicles include a 2020 Range Rover Sport valued at $64,933 and two Ford F-150 Raptors with a combined value of $129,833.
A Land Rover Sport valued at more than $64,000 was recovered as part of a joint investigation.A joint investigation by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations and U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the Port of New York/Newark recovered seven stolen vehicles worth nearly $400,000 that were headed Western African countries, Sheriff Frank Schillari said.
“This operation underscores our relentless commitment to maintaining law and order, and should serve as a warning to those exporting stolen vehicles that law enforcement is actively taking action to disrupt their criminal enterprise,” Schillari said. “Thank you to the great men and women from my office, as well as Homeland Security and Customs agents, for their hard work and once again proving their dedication to deterring transnational criminal activities.
