UPDATE | The two people killed in a shooting yesterday at a Morgan County home were a husband and wife and the incident appears to be a murder-suicide, police now say.
MORGAN COUNTY — A husband and wife were shot to death Sunday afternoon in a suspected murder-suicide at a home just outside Camby, police say.
Morgan County Sheriff's deputies found the male and female outside the home while responding about 5:30 p.m. to the 8000 block of East Landersdale Road for a report of shots fired, according to the sheriff's office.Both people were pronounced dead at the scene. On Monday, the sheriff's office said they had been identified as Kevin Slemensek, 64, and Robecca Slemensek, 61. The sheriff's office hasn't said which one fired shots.
