Halloween at Disneyland is here, which means all-new snacks and treats. Our senior beauty editor taste-tested 10 different Disneyland Halloween food items while on her period and ranked them from worst to best.
Spending the day at Disneyland doesn’t just mean riding It’s A Small World over and over or picking up a brand-new pair of embroidered Mickey ears, it also means eating all of the foods. The Disney park is as famous for its treats as much as its attractions. There’s the iconic Disneyland churro, the heavenly Dole Whip, and that stomach growl-inducing Monte Cristo sandwich. It’s a place for serious foodies, and Halloween at Disneyland is especially glorious.
Period review: Full disclaimer: On the rare occasion I eat Spam, I prefer Spamsilog, a Filipino breakfast dish. It has crispy Spam, fried rice , and a fried egg . But I was up for trying some musubi during my day at the park. Bad decision. This rice was too cold, stiff, and a little bit soggy. I didn’t taste the lemongrass. Unfortunately, my period was not happy with this life choice.

It was pre-made so it was a bit dry, but still yummy.The lowdown: Mickey-shaped beignets with pumpkin spice flavor. Period review: First of all, you can’t go wrong with churros at Disneyland. Where the pumpkin spice beignets had only a faint seasonal flavor, these made up for it. This is definitely a must for a pumpkin spice fan. Sweet-toothed bleeders only: After one bite, I felt the sugar pulsing in my veins.The lowdown: A chocolate cupcake with cherry filling, dark chocolate mousse, and Halloween sprinkles, topped with a chocolate tombstone.
