Each set is prepared about a day in advance, with ice cream shaped in a mold, sprayed with edible food paint, and placed in a freezer to set for at least three hours. There are 10 sets sold every weekday, and 15 on weekends. They go extra fast on weekends, and sell out almost every day. The eggs were pretty hard and needed a little time to defrost, but were ready to go after I got done snapping a few photos. The eggs are a little awkward to eat because they're scooped and placed on a thin, plastic dome.
