Lankford Grocery & Market’s new restaurant at 5208 Bissonnet, the first expansion of the beloved Midtown/Montrose area burger joint, has set May 15 as its opening date., the new Bellaire restaurant carries on the Lankford tradition that began with Aubrey and Nona Lankford’s mom and pop grocery store in Fourth Ward in 1937.
The new Lankford’s website lists a menu featuring its classic burgers as well as daily specials that include Texas-proud dishes such as enchiladas, chicken-fried steak, tacos, barbecue and King Ranch chicken.in April 2022 as a historic move to expand for the first time in Lankford’s 85-year history.
Lankford’s will be open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
