A serious celebrity feud is going down right now, and it comes in the unlikely form of Iggy Azalea versus Peppa Pig. Yup, you read that correctly. Why is the rapper feuding with the animated pig from the children's show? Turns out, both Iggy and Piggy are releasing albums on July 19. The "Fancy" rapper is unveiling her sophomore record, , which features previously released singles "Sally Walker" and "Started." Peppa is releasing her debut record, featuring surefire jams including "Bing Bong Zoo", "Jumping in Muddy Puddles" and "Big Balloon".
"It’s over for me now," Iggy tweeted when she saw the coinciding release dates. "Peppa's so fancy, you already know," the pig tweeted in response, alongside a GIF of the cartoon with a crown on checking herself out in the mirror. Iggy wasn't going down without a fight, though. "Collab with me now or you’ll end up a breakfast special peppa," she wrote. Peppa has yet to respond to the clapback.
