“This was an attempt to kill him, to assassinate him,” reports AFP, quoting a senior aide of Khan. Pakistan’s Geo TV reports that a male suspect has been arrested. He is currently on a march from Lahore to Pakistan’s capital Islamabad and demands early elections at each rally stop.
