To celebrate the grand opening, guests can stop in for “10 Days of Bloomie’s,” a series of holiday-inspired events, including a holiday-themed photo booth, shoe and apparel customizations.
The Bloomie’s store opened Nov. 17, 2022 in Skokie at Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Center.
It succeeds the large, three-story Bloomingdale’s store that dominated an entire wing of the shopping center and is unoccupied for now. Bloomie’s has a prime-visibiiity space facing Skokie Boulevard, near restaurants.The 51,000 square-foot Bloomie’s includes designer goods and labels shoppers will recognize.
The first Bloomie’s opened in Fairfax, Virginia in August 2021 with about 22,000 square feet, and the Skokie store, the second Bloomie’s location in the nation, more than doubles that.The Skokie Bloomie’s features a restaurant called bCafé, which offers seated, full-service dining.
