Adam Duritz — the Counting Crows singer with the thick, artificially voluminous dreadlocks — has shaved his head. Ever since you first listened to August and Everything After in 1993, ever since you first yelled at your friends to please turn off “Mr.
Jones” , ever since Duritz sang about paving paradise and putting up a parking lot with Vanessa Carlton, he has had dreadlocks. Now, as we’ve learned from an Instagram post by Duritz himself, his head is clean-shaven. The thick, dark facial hair remains, but the rest is buzzed down to fuzz.
