Infor OS connects systems and people through back-end automation, decision automation and now – with the release of Infor RPA – front-end automation.
This is what the company calls a ‘complete automation suite’ capable of addressing front-end automation, decision automation and back-end automation.
“We have a differentiated solution because we started by addressing the more complex issue of back-end automation. With Infor RPA, we now provide front-end automation, which enables us to deliver a complete package for enterprise automation. This gives us an advantage over stand-alone vendors,” said Massimo Capoccia, Infor chief innovation officer.
Many companies have been challenged to successfully deploy end-to-end automation because various automation tools have not worked well together. Creating automation flows often has proven too difficult for business users. Further, business users have struggled to select the right processes to be automated. Some solutions have been brittle and subject to failure, or just too expensive to justify the investment and have not generated quantifiable ROI.
“Ultimately, we’re helping customers blur the lines between RPA, process intelligence, workflow automations and connected machine learning-based insights,” noted Rider. “Our goal is to provide customers with a platform, which can help them, regardless of their situation, continue their automation journey without having to be hardcore developers or automation experts – or having a host of prerequisites or costs just to even get started on an idea.
