A top-selling item in Dallas is the Nusr-Et Special, a tenderloin sliced on a hot plate with butter for $200. Fries cost $15. And all other sides — an onion flower, mac and cheese, asparagus or creamy spinach — are $19 each.
Nusr-Et once had the highest-priced steaks in Dallas history, with some costing an incredible $2,200. Those appear to be gone ; the biggest spender today is a 24-karat gold-wrapped mustard-marinated Wagyu rib cap called the Golden Amor for $1,500. Which is still a lot.Gökçe arrived in Dallas in mid-April 2023 after making stops at his restaurants in Boston and Miami. His Instagram account shows him stealthily moving through the dining room in Dallas, dancing with servers at the end of a shift and working out in the gym.
The Instagram chef is expected to be in his Dallas restaurant April 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 between 1:30 and 11 p.m. In the past few months, reservations had been a cinch at Nusr-Et, but they could be tougher with Salt Bae in town. Those who want dinner and a show should select the “Saltbae is in Dallas!” option on OpenTable.
