Intel stock looks to shave 29 points off Dow, enough to turn Dow futures to red
Shares of Intel Corp. INTC, -1.89% sank 7.4% in premarket trade Friday, enough to turn Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YMM9, -0.10% negative, after the chip maker provided a downbeat profit and revenue outlook, while reporting in-line first-quarter earnings. The stock's implied price decline would shave about 29 points off the Dow's price DJIA, -0.51% while Dow futures are down 25 points. Intel's stock has rallied 23% year to date through Thursday, while the Dow has gained 13%.
