The IRS says the improvements are tied to the Inflation Reduction Act funding that was approved in August and are part of a wider effort.
The Internal Revenue Service has announced new improvements including hiring thousands of extra workers to help with the 2023 tax season.
IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig, said,"The IRS is fully committed to providing the best service possible, and we are moving quickly to use new funding to help taxpayers during the busy tax season."
