Frisco officials are expected to announce plans this week for a new theme park on the Dallas North Tollway.
Related:Frisco’s city council and planning and zoning commission have scheduled a special meeting Wednesday evening for an “update on the Fields development.” The public meeting will be at Trent Middle School, just south of the Fields project.
Developers of the Fields community would not comment on Wednesday’s announcement. Hunt Realty and developer Karahan Cos. are building the development, which stretches from Preston Road up to U.S. Highway 380. The community is being built in partnership with investors Chief Capital and Crosstie Capital.attempted to contact eight city leaders.
“Those pieces made it attractive, and you could say something similar for Texas,” Lurie said. “Historically, they’ve been pretty favorable, have large populations and have become destinations.”
